Treating New Zealand Gambling Addictions: Group Therapy

Group Therapy Courses for Problem Gamblers

Woodlands Trust group therapy courses are designed for individuals who are experiencing gambling addictions and gambling problems and for whanau or significant others concerned about the gambling behaviour of an individual or family member. Consequently, this programme is very structured and intensive.

Group therapy courses are typically offered one night per week in Christchurch and in Auckland. Typically, workshops are held from 7.00pm until 10.00pm.

Philosophy

The Woodlands Trust crest is symbolic of what we hope to inspire in people. Translated from Latin, the words "They can because they think they can" represents the first steps towards change. Every individual is unique and has a special contribution to make. We are merely facilitators of the change process, no more and no less.

"Woodlands Trust offers New Zealanders help overcoming gambling addictions and gambling problems."
